Ubisoft Forward is a pretty predictable experience. We get the usual random stuff early on; Mario & Rabbids, Skull & Bones, Riders Republic and more. Pre-show included a bunch of promos, including a photo-mode contest which led into a promo to get Ubisoft+ free for a month.

Oh, and of course they plugged The Division 2’s new updates.

Ghost Recon and Splinter Cell fans are giving a pretty hard side-eye to The Division 2 right now for all it’s updates, but it IS a popular (and profitable) series for Ubisoft.

We do get a peek into the Division: Heartland. While early, EARLY leaks showed stealth mechanics having some real significance, and what we saw in those early leaks are still at least partially there, we can’t be sure that it’ll retain any solid stealth.

Oh, and both a Division AND a Rainbow Six mobile game? Pass for me, but maybe you’re into that sorta thing (I’m still bitter about the direction Rainbow Six has went in, but then again, I’m a bitter old man who played the original Rainbow Six game).

Speaking of mobile.. Netflix is going to be carrying some Ubisoft games, apparently. This will include an AC game AND live action series, weirdly enough (let’s not talk about the live action movie, though).

The big hype was all about Assassin’s Creed, however, and those of us who tuned in waited until the very end for the reveal.

15 years since the first Assassin’s Creed, we’re finally looking at a game that goes back to it’s roots: Assassin’s Creed Mirage.

Featuring Basim from AC Valhalla, we’re going back to the Middle East (Baghdad), rooftops, social stealth and all the other classic experiences that launched the series.
