{"id":601,"date":"2020-09-10T16:12:24","date_gmt":"2020-09-10T21:12:24","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/localhost\/ggndev\/?p=601"},"modified":"2020-09-10T16:13:53","modified_gmt":"2020-09-10T21:13:53","slug":"ubisoft-forward-the-hopes-and-dreams-of-stealth-gamers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ghostgamer.news\/ubisoft-forward-the-hopes-and-dreams-of-stealth-gamers\/","title":{"rendered":"UPDATED: Ubisoft Forward: The hopes and dreams of stealth gamers"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong><em>UPDATE:<\/em><\/strong> Ubisoft Forward has ended, and we&#8217;ve now got just about what we&#8217;ve expected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They&#8217;ve talked about the new Watch Dogs: Legion, which we may or may not cover here in the future (I&#8217;m looking at you, Watch Dogs fans, to send in your stories &amp; guides), but we did see a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=fYZD1oSycRU\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">new trailer for Red Patriot in Ghost Recon Breakpoint<\/a> and a mention of the &#8220;Pathfinder&#8221; class, as well as apparently a new ability that disables drones within a larger radius; No clue if this will be a new item for everybody, or if it is tied to the Pathfinder class itself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Unfortunately, we do NOT get a new Splinter Cell. AGAIN.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Let&#8217;s just hope they&#8217;ll get tired of milking Sam for use in other IPs and start to think maybe the Splinter Cell IP is actually worth directly investing in again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here&#8217;s the original post:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>Ubisoft Forward is coming in about 6 hours, featuring a number of known updates for a variety of properties (including a <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.eurogamer.net\/articles\/2020-09-10-ubisoft-leaks-prince-of-persia-the-sands-of-time-remake-images\" target=\"_blank\">new Prince of Persia<\/a>, apparently, which was a surprise).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What is there for my fellow Ghost Gamers?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Well, we know we&#8217;ll be seeing more on Ghost Recon Breakpoint starting at 11 PDT, some stuff on the new Watch Dogs Legion during the main event, probably something related to AC Valhalla, and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What we&#8217;re really, REALLY hoping for, however, is an announcement on a new Splinter Cell game. Supposedly, according to Luca Ward (the Italian voice actor for Sam Fisher) claims a new <a href=\"https:\/\/www.express.co.uk\/entertainment\/gaming\/1333533\/Ubisoft-Forward-September-COUNTDOWN-Prince-of-Persia-Splinter-Cell-time-stream\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Splinter Cell game is in the works<\/a> and slated for release this year. Most likely we&#8217;ll just get an update on the new anime, but we&#8217;ll see.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I&#8217;m cautiously optimistic about this.
