Although tensions are currently high in regards to the militarization of police in the US, there is a certain interesting dynamic in tactical squad work with groups such as SWAT. Tactical Combat Department aims to create unique gameplay surrounding this sort of action.

Created by sole developer Lukáš Hanák, Tactical Combat Department allows you to perform entries, rescue hostages and, more importantly, even (non-violently) subdue foes rather than outright kill them, which makes this much more palatable than what we’ve seen here in the U.S. in some cases.

Ethics aside, this could prove to be a unique game in the tactical genre.
