Builds now can have much more general synergy between skills, and skill progression is much more interesting. Systems such as hacking and stealth have been overhauled by such a degree that the core gameplay style has changed for both..<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>..Oh, and throwing knives are actually useful now!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><a href=\"https:\/\/ghostgamer.news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/CP-welcomeback.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1400\" height=\"788\" src=\"https:\/\/ghostgamer.news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/CP-welcomeback-1400x788.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-8168\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ghostgamer.news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/CP-welcomeback-1400x788.jpg 1400w, https:\/\/ghostgamer.news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/CP-welcomeback-700x394.jpg 700w, https:\/\/ghostgamer.news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/CP-welcomeback-1536x864.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/ghostgamer.news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/CP-welcomeback.jpg 1920w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1400px) 100vw, 1400px\" \/><\/a><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Spending time with my favorite ripperdoc<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Cyberware and equipment have also received overhaul, chiefly with a new tier system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Originally, things like weapons were part of a more loot-shooter style; you\u2019ll constantly be trying to get the latest &amp; greatest, and if you liked a specific weapon, you\u2019d need to invest heavily in crafting in order to keep it useful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now, however, we\u2019ve got a much better tier system that &#8211; most importantly &#8211; doesn\u2019t require investment in specific skills in order to continue to maintain your equipment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><a href=\"https:\/\/ghostgamer.news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/cp-strut.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1400\" height=\"788\" src=\"https:\/\/ghostgamer.news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/cp-strut-1400x788.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-8169\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ghostgamer.news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/cp-strut-1400x788.jpg 1400w, https:\/\/ghostgamer.news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/cp-strut-700x394.jpg 700w, https:\/\/ghostgamer.news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/cp-strut-1536x864.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/ghostgamer.news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/cp-strut.jpg 1920w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1400px) 100vw, 1400px\" \/><\/a><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">clothing even receives a bit of an overhaul, too<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally, driving has changed quite a bit. I found myself getting more out of these new ones than the old ones I had experienced in the 1.x version of the game.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><a href=\"https:\/\/ghostgamer.news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/cp-petthekitty.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1400\" height=\"788\" src=\"https:\/\/ghostgamer.news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/cp-petthekitty-1400x788.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-8171\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ghostgamer.news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/cp-petthekitty-1400x788.jpg 1400w, https:\/\/ghostgamer.news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/cp-petthekitty-700x394.jpg 700w, https:\/\/ghostgamer.news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/cp-petthekitty-1536x864.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/ghostgamer.news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/cp-petthekitty.jpg 1920w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1400px) 100vw, 1400px\" \/><\/a><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">You can do a lot more than just pet the kitty, friend<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>This means replaying the game to try different builds is much more interesting now; you have a lot more to try out and do this time around.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Added to the game was a new way to get vehicles, as well, tied to a mission giver called Muamar &#8220;El Capit\u00e1n&#8221; Reyes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These missions basically call on you to go steal vehicles and bring them back to a specific location; they sometimes have time limits, and also may require you to lose tails before you can complete the mission.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><a href=\"https:\/\/ghostgamer.news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/cp-drive.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1400\" height=\"788\" src=\"https:\/\/ghostgamer.news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/cp-drive-1400x788.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-8172\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ghostgamer.news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/cp-drive-1400x788.jpg 1400w, https:\/\/ghostgamer.news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/cp-drive-700x394.jpg 700w, https:\/\/ghostgamer.news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/cp-drive-1536x864.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/ghostgamer.news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/cp-drive.jpg 1920w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1400px) 100vw, 1400px\" \/><\/a><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Of course, I still drive my favorite bike<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Complete enough of these and you\u2019ll unlock new vehicles for purchase, or even get some for free. You\u2019ll also earn special discount coupons, making buying new vehicles even more enticing when you drop their price by significant amounts after collecting some coupons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These missions aren\u2019t perfect, however; Sometimes the timer just isn\u2019t long enough to be able to get the vehicle to the garage in time. I had one particular mission where I had a 3 minute timer to get a slow-as-molasses boat of a car to a garage a significant distance away, and it wasn\u2019t even close. Still, I got some reward, even if it wasn\u2019t the full one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Speaking of missions, let\u2019s talk about the Phantom Liberty DLC, which, spoiler alert: is absolutely worth it.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class='code-block code-block-3' style='margin: 8px 0; clear: both;'>\n<div id=\"gg_ads_midLeaderboard3\" class=\"gg_ads__adSpot gg_ads__adSpot--midLeaderboard\">\n<script async=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js?client=ca-pub-8114869302769879\" crossorigin=\"anonymous\"><\/script>\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display:block; text-align:center;\" data-ad-layout=\"in-article\" data-ad-format=\"fluid\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-8114869302769879\" data-ad-slot=\"4457812656\"><\/ins>\n<script>\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\n<\/script>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Cyberpunk 2077\u2019s Phantom Liberty DLC is totally worth it<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>I wasn\u2019t originally going to play Phantom Liberty, but decided that since I needed to recreate all my guides for the game I\u2019d go ahead and play Phantom Liberty as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I am &#8211; without a doubt &#8211; glad I did.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><a href=\"https:\/\/ghostgamer.news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/cp-libertyintro.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1400\" height=\"788\" src=\"https:\/\/ghostgamer.news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/cp-libertyintro-1400x788.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-8173\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ghostgamer.news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/cp-libertyintro-1400x788.jpg 1400w, https:\/\/ghostgamer.news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/cp-libertyintro-700x394.jpg 700w, https:\/\/ghostgamer.news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/cp-libertyintro-1536x864.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/ghostgamer.news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/cp-libertyintro.jpg 1920w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1400px) 100vw, 1400px\" \/><\/a><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Suspense and drama abound<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>I\u2019m going to avoid story spoilers here, but I do want to say this: The Phantom Liberty DLC storyline blows the original main story out of the water.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I rarely get excited for main questlines in games, but this one? Wow. It is incredible. The writing, gameplay, and cinematics are absolutely top notch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><a href=\"https:\/\/ghostgamer.news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/cp-libertyfeels.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1400\" height=\"788\" src=\"https:\/\/ghostgamer.news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/cp-libertyfeels-1400x788.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-8174\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ghostgamer.news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/cp-libertyfeels-1400x788.jpg 1400w, https:\/\/ghostgamer.news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/cp-libertyfeels-700x394.jpg 700w, https:\/\/ghostgamer.news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/cp-libertyfeels-1536x864.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/ghostgamer.news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/cp-libertyfeels.jpg 1920w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1400px) 100vw, 1400px\" \/><\/a><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Complex characters with great cinematics? Check<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Speaking of gameplay, the DLC does open up a number of other side missions, a new region, new cyberware, and a new skill tree (that progresses differently from the main skill tree).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><a href=\"https:\/\/ghostgamer.news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/cp-relictree.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1400\" height=\"788\" src=\"https:\/\/ghostgamer.news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/cp-relictree-1400x788.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-8175\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ghostgamer.news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/cp-relictree-1400x788.jpg 1400w, https:\/\/ghostgamer.news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/cp-relictree-700x394.jpg 700w, https:\/\/ghostgamer.news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/cp-relictree-1536x864.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/ghostgamer.news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/cp-relictree.jpg 1920w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1400px) 100vw, 1400px\" \/><\/a><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">The aforementioned new skill tree<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>I can\u2019t speak more highly of the Phantom Liberty DLC. Most I encountered were in the early game, but there were a handful I experienced later, including some that required reloading from an earlier save. Thankfully I never got the point to where I had to go back to an old manual save; Typically hopping back to the latest quick\/auto save was enough.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you\u2019ve played the original release of Cyberpunk 2077, but didn\u2019t feel like replaying it..
