This is a heady time for games. We’ve got the wonders of Baldur’s Gate 3, Starfield looming on the horizon, and now Assassin’s Creed: Mirage has a new release date.
AC Mirage will now release October 5th – a full week earlier than planned – as noted below the pre-order button in the header of the AC Mirage landing page.
Most likely this was done to avoid clashing too much with other big game releases, but either way it’s a welcome change in the event that Starfield needs a few months to get bugs polished off (not an uncommon issue given it is a Bethesda open world title with a LOT of new mechanics for them).
Keep in mind that AC Mirage is going to be more like classic AC games rather than the current large-scope open world titles; It’s expected to take 25-30 hours to beat, and most likely won’t have a bunch of post-launch DLC.
