The Lord of the Rings: Gollum is a game I’m tentatively excited about. While there is a lot of potential for failure here (from the developer or from the concept), it’s unique enough to make me want to play it.
Unfortunately, we’ll have to wait a few more months to get our hands on the hunt for our precious.
This isn’t necessarily surprising, nor is it a bad thing.
Developers taking more time to get things right is good. I’d much rather see the game delayed to work well and be fun at launch than see another rocky release like Ghost Recon Breakpoint, Cyberpunk 2077, or even Anthem (which never recovered).
Curious about the game? I’ve got a write-up on what we know about LotR: Gollum here.
