Alright, this is going to be a short one, because honestly.. There isn’t a lot for me to tell.
There is, however, a lot to show you. Real gameplay. Here’s the video.
This is super fascinating, and you get to see that real stealth early on.. Initially just some standard crouching and using suppressed weapons, but we later also get to see optical camo (a feature I personally love and wish more games would utilize).
The world itself is fascinating.. You see a lot of urban dystopia (which reminds me of the art direction of Children of Men), interspersed with green and classical historic architecture.
And then you rip a guy out of a mech suit and blow shit up.
I’ll admit; it’s been a long time since I’ve played an NCSoft game. The last one, I THINK, was Guild Wars (the first, not the second).. As an MMO, I enjoyed it, because it also allowed me to not have to deal with randos all the time.
We’ll see what happens here. From what I understand we’ve still got a long ways to go; 2024 is the current planned year for release.
